Art of Pain Relief
We have direct personal experience of chronic pain (cancer related pain, post operative pain, fibromyalgia, back pain, sciatic pain and hypersensitive nerve pain).
Through our own research and not wanting to rely solely on medication we have found ways in which we can manage our symptoms. The techniques that we offer are part and parcel of our ongoing personal pain management.
Using a workshop and group coaching format we will share and teach you a small number of pain relief techniques and guide you as you explore more of your creative abilities.
No matter your artistic starting point!
The techniques offered are a just a sample of what’s possible. We have already gathered quite a library of techniques. These are from the fields of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy ("CBT"), Neuro Lingusitic Programming ("NLP") hypnosis and self hypnosis and developmental psychology.
Importantly, we work in conjunction with your existing treatment options. We do not offer any advice on medications or on treatment options that your primary healthcare provider has prescribed.
Rather, we work alongside all other approaches and instead explore how you might develop approaches that help you with your daily living.

There are 4 workshops in the series, each lasting 2 1/2 hours. We take account of pain levels and the need for comfort. We go at a pace that suits everyone and make sure that we move and stretch in regular intervals.
A Takeaway Bag
We provide all the necessary materials. You will leave with a small starter kit - something to help you practice at home. After each session you will also have a handout detailing the steps to the techinques that we have presented.

An Audio Recording to Take Home
Additionally, we will provide you with an audio file, something for you to use when at home and which will further help you with pain releif. This will have some instructions for you on how to make further progress with these techniques. It will also have recordings of the guided visualisation meditations that we have presented during the session.
